Sol Food Cafe is an amazing little cafe for breakfast. The food is outstanding, and I have throughly enjoyed everything I’ve gotten omelettes, burritos, breakfast sandwiches, you really can’t miss! Did I mention wonderful cappuccinos and a patio? Highly recommend.

Love dining here! I'm still dreaming about the Figment Of Your Imagination sandwich. The melted brie, the turkey and bacon together with the fig dressing... it was marvelous. You can also grab a beer to enjoy with your food, including creations from local microbreweries in the area. Great little gift shop inside as well. The staff are kind, and knowledable about their stellar menu. Will definitely take the jaunt from from Taos next time we are in the area!

Dining at Sol Food Cafe was a delightful experience, particularly due to their outstanding sandwich, El Caballero. The first bite revealed the perfectly balanced kick of heat from the green chile, which melded seamlessly with the rich, savory flavors of the sandwich. The crunchy, cheesy bread added a wonderful texture, making each bite an adventure. The accompanying Au jus/"oh-ZHOO" sauce elevated the experience further, providing a savory dip that enhanced the flavors and made the meal fun and interactive. The lovely waiter added to the charm of the morning , offering helpful advice on the menu and sharing her personal favorites, ensuring our meal was not only delicious but also memorable. There were some other honorable menu food items the family and I tried check out the pictures to see if you can match it to the menu. anyways Bon Appetit / provecho !

As locals in Taos we love to drive up here with family and friends and just ourselves. The drive is sweet and the food and coffee and pastries are always worth the visit. My mom and I love to come here when the patio is open. Trees. Birds. Lovely to hang out. The food is fantastic and count on able as always fresh and good. I need to try some other dishes as I love the Nova Scotia omlet so much I am stuck on it. They make all sauces and pastries in house. Local pottery for the coffee mugs. It's all so very reflective of Arroyo Seco. I think you'll love this place.

Tucked away off the main drag of Arroyo Seco is my hippie girl dream of a restaurant. The menu is varied and appealing to many appetites, but I especially appreciate the freshness of the vegetables and the homemade-with-love-and-care of each dish. Beer and wine are available as well as a variety of coffee drinks, teas and other libations. The outdoor dining area is sublime with trees and a muy tranquilo vibe. The service may be a bit slow (patience is a virtue!) but know you will be rewarded with a delicious meal and everyone who works there wears a smile.

On vacation to Taos, we went out of our way to get breakfast here because I have dietary restrictions and I read that this restaurant would have plenty options for me. The food was wonderful and the employees were incredibly kind. Our waitress was very nice and even gave us some good tips on places to go on our road trip. I had the most delicious gluten free pancakes and my boyfriend had a yummy omelette. The baked goods available were also incredible. The wait for food was a little longer than normal but we didn’t mind at all.

Excellent vegan breakfast burritos! We got one smothered in red, one in green. The spicy chai was one of the best mugs of chai I’ve ever had - super spicy and rich.
